Marta Mackova
I am a 28 year old animator from the Czech republic. I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 and I am working as a freelance animator in Edinburgh. I have been working as an illustrator for the Czech publishing companies Triton and Altar.
I am passionate about animation and telling stories through drawings in a humorous way. I am a big fan of studio Ghibli’s work and I love Igor Kovalyov’s films.
My graduation film “Café”, is a peak into the imagination of a young woman passing her time people watching, trying to read the sexual fantasies of the café’s various customers.
