Edinburgh Filmhouse

kolik screening at filmhouse

The three films selected for this screening chart the development of Edinburgh-based Ko Lik Films over the past five years: from the BAFTA success of their first film, The Tree Officer, through international festival favourite Ujbaz Izbeneki Has Lost His Soul, to their first broadcast commission for BBC Scotland, Haunted Hogmanay.

The other films being screened feature work from friends and colleagues who have worked with Ko Lik during this time: Bafta New Talent award-winner Julia MacLean The Finger Trap who worked on their two BBC films, Bill Elliot Break who has just directed their first 2D advert, and Michael Hughes Adore who has animated on all of their films, right back to The Tree Officer.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with some of the filmmakers.
